Customer Spotlight: Mr. and Mrs. Oden
It was such an incredible pleasure to see Mr. & Mrs. Oden today. They came in to pick up their new Ford Fusion, which is just one of the vehicles they have purchased here. They have been buying here since 1962, the year we opened our doors. When asked why they graciously keep coming back to Academy Ford to purchase their vehicles, Mr. Oden simply said, “because of the no pressure sales environment.” Mrs. Oden added on by saying, “the customer service; the sales team here helped me find exactly what I wanted.”
They initially began buying Fords because Mr. Oden father was a loyal employee at Ford Motor Company for several years, he later retired in his 80s. They continue to buy Fords because of the quality product. The Ford Taurus they replaced with their new Ford Fusion had been in the family for 13 years. Mrs. Oden commented that, “it’s a bittersweet moment because I do really get emotionally attached to my cars and I hate to see the Ford Taurus go, but I am excited about the new one.” The most unique aspect of their car buying process is they have never test driven a car before buying. Mrs. Oden remarked, “…that’s how much we trust Academy Ford and the Ford product.” Mr. & Mrs. Oden are a fine example of our family of customers here at Academy Ford and it was great to have them back in today.
