Join Us for the Escape Hunger Drive
Ford and Feeding America®, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, have kicked off the 2013 Ford Escape Hunger Drive in various cities around the United States. Guests at each Hunger Drive event will have the opportunity to experience smart features on the all-new Ford Escape, including its hands-free liftgate, EcoBoost® engine, active park assist and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) technologies.
Academy Ford has volunteered to host one of their stops across the country at our dealership this Friday October 5th from 12pm until 5pm. They are stopping by to help those in need. “Ford has always embraced helping people in need, and this is a good way to give back to the community, while simultaneously showcasing the all-new Escape,” said Crystal Worthem, Ford Brand Content and Alliances Marketing manager. “For the first time, Ford is linking its charity support with bringing a new vehicle to market.” And you can too! Stop by the dealership on your lunch break or on your way home from work and you can help us in the efforts to bring meals to those who are suffering from hunger in America! Each person that comes out to the event and registers will enable us to help in donating 40 meals to those in need! In total, Feeding America expects to help provide more than 1.2 million meals through the campaign. Plus, you are entered in to win a 2013 Ford Escape!
