Advantages of Leasing a Ford Vehicle

Ford Lease

Ford Credit provides a great variety of lease terms.  With a variety of mileage options, term lengths, and program benefits and options, you’re sure to find a plan that suits your needs.

Mileage Options

Ford offers seven mileage options, ranging from 10,500 to 19,500 miles per year.  If you know that you will need even more miles, you can choose to build in prepaid extra miles at your contract inception for less cost per mile than what would be charged at lease-end.  And if you do not use your prepaid miles, you will be reimbursed, provided you do not purchase the vehicle at lease-end.

Term Lengths

Ford also offers a wide variety of term lengths to meet your unique needs, including 24/36 month leases.

Program Benefits and Options

GAP Protection Benefit

Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) is a unique feature that is included at no extra charge with your lease.  In the event your leased vehicle is stolen or declared a total loss, GAP may waive the difference – or gap – between your insurance payoff and your outstanding lease.  Provided you have the insurance required by your lease agreement, with GAP, you are only responsible for the insurance deductible, any past due payments, and amounts owed at the time of the incident. Certain restrictions may apply.

Advance Payment Program (APP) Option

If you would prefer to pay all monthly lease payments up front in one convenient payment, this program is for you. At lease-end, a final invoice is generated for any unpaid excess mileage, excess wear and use charges, and other miscellaneous charges, if applicable.

Additional Security Deposits Option

This option allows you to pay multiple security deposits at lease inception in exchange for a reduced monthly lease payment. Additional security deposits may be used to pay excess wear and use, excess mileage, or other remaining charges at lease-end.  Additional Security Deposits are not refundable during the term of the lease, but any security deposit not used will be refunded at lease-end.

One final option you might want to consider is WearCare®.  This is an optional product available at lease inception that can waive up to $4,000 of lease end excess wear and use charges.

Hopefully you now have a better understanding of the many leasing benefits and options that Ford offers that allow you to create a lease term that is tailored to your needs.
